Face fit testing is a process used to verify that a facepiece or mask fits securely and forms a proper seal on the wearer’s face. The effectiveness of tight-fitting facepieces relies on maintaining constant contact between the wearer’s skin and the mask's seal. A poor fit can greatly diminish the level of protection offered, potentially leading to both immediate and long-term health issues.
The Fit Tester will train the user on the correct way to fit and store Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE). Upon completion of this training, the Fit Tester will then connect a hose and probe to the RPE, the trainee will be required to wear their RPE and engage in a series of activities while a device measures the particles inside and outside of the mask. The following activities will be conducted:
While walking on the spot (with exercise step):
Without exercise step:

However, we only offer Quantitative Fit Testing
Employers are legally obligated to conduct face fit testing for all employees who use tight-fitting respirators, including dust masks or full-face respirators. It is essential that employers offer appropriate face fit testing and provide clear instructions on the correct use of protective equipment. Additionally, employers must ensure staff are trained to identify respiratory hazards and understand the proper procedures for wearing respirators, particularly when a risk assessment has highlighted the need for such protection.
We exclusively offer quantitative face fit testing, which is recognised as the most reliable and precise method available. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest standard of service, ensuring optimal accuracy and reliability in every test.
